Khadamat Facilities Management LLC is a joint venture (JV) company formed to operate and provide Integrated Facilities Management Services to the new United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain.


Through focusing on and making best use of the main components of Facilities Management (People, Place, Process and Technology), Khadamat delivers a range of high-quality services to the UAE University. Our aim is to continue in what we are doing well and continuously improve.


Understanding the need to enable the University to focus on its core business (Teaching & Research), Khadamat is continuously innovating and delivering high quality services to the UAE University in line with the Project Agreement. To ensure the University expectations are met and exceeded wherever possible, Khadamat will be working with the university in the spirit of partnership.

Your Opportunity  


Khadamat are looking for an IT Support Technician provide IT services to Khadamat external campus. These services include but not limited to system & network administration, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, IT asset management, Life cycle and projects of both IT systems and ESN networks. Act as the focal point of contact for Khadamat external campus employees.


The ideal candidate should have the ability to:

  • An ability to work with existing and new IT systems technology.

This role is part of the Khadamat team and will be based in Al Ain, UAE.


Key Accountabilities


  • To positively participate the outputs of the IT Department, in accordance with the Output Specification of the Project Agreement, without service penalty for KPI failure, Service Performance Shortfall or Unavailability Events.
  • Supporting and maintaining IT Governance programs, including Application, Infrastructure, IT Documentation Life Cycle management, IT Risk management, business continuity plans,Incident Management, Subcontractor management and disaster recovery plans
  • To support & maintain all the IT and ESN systems, including Salto, Call Centre, ERP system, MRI Evolution, CMIS, M365 systems and Khadamat Website.
  • Ensure systems availability to all users, including UAEU users or other systems in UAEU, where appropriate.
  • Monitor the backup, server & endpoint systems that are protected with up-to-date antivirus software and the firmware, OS & application updates.
  • Technical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hardware/software administration, resource management, support, maintenance, installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting, including hardware fixes, network connectivity and company website maintenance.
  • Support IT Procurement and IT Assets Inventory and Disposal.
  • Support the implementation of the IT Projects and Life Cycle Projects as per the IT Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Initiation of Operational Excellence Projects for IT team and support other
  • To participate in troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of IT and ESN communications-related hardware and software systems for Khadamat employees

Specific Requirements


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, minimum of 5 years previous System Administrator duties and must have a good understanding of the requirements of IT Department methodology.
  • Should be graduated from Computer Science, IT, or related degree or equivalent.
  • Should be certified in Microsoft Azure Administrator.
  • Respond to customer's service-related issues promptly.
  • Undertake testing and document results for systems and equipment.
  • Accurately and quickly diagnose and remedy faults and problems, troubleshoot electronic systems and equipment and repair electronic components where appropriate.
  • A full working knowledge of IT support
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with other people.
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain complex databases.
  • Ability to work and implement IT roster plan and attend to work in case of emergencies and disaster cases.
