Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled IT Technician to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem
solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
1. User Support:
o Provide technical assistance to users for software, hardware, and network
related issues.
o Educate users on IT best practices and tools to improve productivity.
2. Device Support & Deployment:
o Manage and troubleshoot devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
o Deploy new devices, including configuration and user onboarding.
3. Workstation Troubleshooting:
o Diagnose and resolve workstation hardware and software issues.
o Ensure all workstations are up-to-date and running optimally.
4. Printing Support:
o Diagnose and resolve printing issues
o Assist users with printer setup and configuration.
5. Basic Network Troubleshooting:
o Infra Cabling & Termination
o Resolve basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
o Assist with the setup and maintenance of networking equipment.
6. Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions, and system configurations.
o Create user guides and training materials for employees.
7. Collaboration:
o Work with the IT team to implement new systems and technologies.
o Provide support for IT-related projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
RequirementsQualifications
1. Education and Certifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
o Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent (preferred).
2. Experience: The candidate must have 2-4 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting current IT environments, including device hardware and software, printers, Windows operating systems, and networking.
The duties are primarily supporting users and internal systems for day-to-day technical operations.
3. Technical Skills:
o Knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
o Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
o Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
4. Soft Skills:
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time eAectively.
o A proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
Working Conditions
May require occasional after-hours or weekend work for system maintenance.
Physical eAort may be required for equipment setup or repairs.
