Ensuring operational excellence and security within the Juma Al Majid group, while simultaneously driving revenue growth and market leadership through technology. This role requires a strategic balance between maintaining smooth IT operations and spearheading digital transformation initiatives to achieve business success and innovation. The Head will oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, including planning, development, deployment, and management of hardware, network, and security, to ensure efficient and effective operational services. Hybrid Cloud Management: Oversee the seamless operation and integration of on-premises infrastructure, private cloud, and public cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency. DevOps Implementation: Champion the adoption of DevOps practices to automate infrastructure provisioning, software deployments, and monitoring, enabling rapid and reliable service delivery. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Implement SRE principles to ensure high service availability, performance, and reliability through proactive monitoring, incident response, and automation. IT Asset Management: Develop and implement comprehensive IT asset management strategies to optimize the utilization and lifecycle management of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and cloud resources. Data Center Optimization: Manage and optimize data center operations, including capacity planning, energy efficiency, and physical security, to ensure cost-effectiveness and resilience. Threat Management: Implement and maintain a robust cybersecurity program to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate cyber threats, including intrusion detection, vulnerability management, and incident response. Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Implement and enforce DLP strategies to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, both in transit and at rest. Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements to minimize risk and maintain data integrity. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Develop and regularly test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure business operations can resume quickly and effectively in the event of a disruption. Cloud-Native Adoption: Lead the transition to cloud-native architectures and technologies, including microservices, containers, and serverless computing, to enhance agility, scalability, and resilience. AI & Automation: Spearhead the adoption of AI and automation technologies to optimize business processes, improve decision-making, and drive innovation. Data Analytics & Insights: Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to gain insights into IT operations, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Customer Experience Enhancement: Drive digital initiatives to enhance customer experience through omni-channel communication, personalized services, and self-service capabilities. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives, ensuring that IT investments support business growth and innovation. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Talent Development: Identify, recruit, and develop top IT talent, providing opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement to meet future business needs. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree in Business Administration, Digital Transformation, or a related field with a specialization in cloud computing, AI, or data analytics is preferred. Strong understanding of modern IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity. Expertise in data center management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable. 10+ years of progressive experience in IT operations and management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, AI/ML implementation, and automation. Experience managing hybrid cloud environments and implementing DevOps practices. Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and cybersecurity best practices.
