Job Description

The Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the performance and availability of the server and Network infrastructure are maintained to the highest standard with maximum levels of productivity and efficiency. The Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for ongoing administration and support of all Infrastructure systems, providing client support and working closely with users to understand business needs. Expertise in analyzing, designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide IT infrastructure.


  • Advising systematic know-how of procedures, operations, and work instructions.
  • Checking systems and equipment for substandard performance or malfunctioning.
  • Fixing systems and equipment problems.
  • Good Knowledge of SAN Storage Devices like HP & Huawei enterprise editions.
  • Good knowledge of backup and replication software like Synology & Nakivo
  • Manage and Migrate knowledge about Office 365 and other Microsoft cloud applications.
  • Good knowledge about BCP (Business Continuity Plan) like DR.
  • Manage and administrate Perimeter firewalls like SonicWALL.
  • Manage and Administrate Cisco L2, L3 switches.
  • Good knowledge of Cisco CUCM & CME Telephony services.
  • Manage and administrate Cisco Mobility Controller and Meraki Cloud-based APs.
  • Manage and administrate Microsoft Exchange Servers.
  • Good Knowledge of Active Directory Management, DNS & DHCP.
  • Good administrative knowledge of Hypervisors like Microsoft Clusters.
  • Identifying performance problems and malfunctions.
  • Maintaining hardware and corresponding documentation of fixes, notes, and recommendations.
  • Performing daily Infrastructure checks using appropriate testing and benchmarking tools.
  • Managing routine preventive procedures; maintaining and monitoring network security
  • Analyzing and resolving faults.
  • Monitoring network environments and proactively maintaining infrastructure to prevent failures.
  • Updating process, procedure, and other documentation.
  • Supporting and maintaining new server hardware and software infrastructure
  • Setting up user accounts, permissions, and passwords to ensure compliance with policy.
  • Log and follow-up issues with Vendors.
  • Perform health system checks on areas of responsibility.
  • Provide infrastructure tiers 1 and 2 support if needed.
  • Mapping client's requirements and providing them best IT solutions.
  • Designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving IT service delivery processes within the corporate guidelines to ensure efficient IT-dependent business operations and achieving corporate objectives.
  • Manage and administer servers, Applications, Firewalls, Enterprise backup, and network infrastructure.
  • Propose new ideas to management to have a better and more scalable network.
  • Ensured adherence to the SLA within the network.
  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking Corporate IT assets.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and Cisco.

Experience Requirements:


  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing the ICT environment. Certification in ITIL, Microsoft and Network technologies is recommended.

  • Highly developed organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to maintain and manage information of a confidential or sensitive nature.
