business functions, processes, and assets.
·Identify
dependencies, interdependencies, and critical timelines to support informed
decision-making in BCP development.
·Identify
the resources needed.
3.Risk
Assessment and Management:
§Identify
potential threats and vulnerabilities through risk assessments.
§Develop
and implement strategies to mitigate risks to business operations identified
through BIA and risk assessments.
4.Training
and Preparedness:
·Educate and train employees on business continuity policies,
procedures, and their roles during disruptions.
·Coordinate and conduct drills and exercises to test BCP
effectiveness and enhance organizational readiness.
5.Incident
Response and Crisis Management:
·Coordinate response efforts during emergencies, crisis
or disruptions.
·Implement and oversee BCP activation and recovery processes
as per established protocols.
6.Monitoring
and Continuous Improvement:
·Monitor changes in the organizational environment and
update BCPs and BIAs accordingly.
