The IT Business Analyst (BA) plays an active part in driving innovative and scalable Products to bring value to business, as well as covering the solution’s lifecycle management to suit respective markets.
You’ll be a crucial part of the product’s lifecycle management and ensure that any solution is chosen to fulfil known and understood business requirements, fitting into the Product roadmap definitions and continuously providing business value over its lifecycle.
BA works closely with multiple IT stakeholders (Product Managers, Product Owners, Development Teams) to support decision-making regarding solution options, deliverables, and priorities and perform business analysis activities (i.e. Requirements Elicitation and Analysis, Solution Design, Stakeholder Management, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, etc.).
BA collaborates in the area of business partnering and/or product management and frequently takes on the additional role of Product Owner where appropriate.
Develops and maintains the business case and strives for harmonization and optimization of business processes across sites and departments.
Performs typical Business Analysis activities and creates deliverables as per Roche standards within a product/project like a Business Case, User Stories, Functional Specification, Acceptance Criteria, etc.
You have Bachelor or Advanced Degree and 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Consultant (Business Analysis certification is a plus, eg. CBAP, IIBA AAC, IREB, etc.).
You have business domain knowledge (based on experience) for one or more from the following area(s): commercial excellence, ERP, CRM, digital marketing, analytics/dashboards, finance/procurement, and own the ability to quickly learn new business domains.
You can demonstrate hands-on experience in the healthcare (pharma or medical equipment) industry (areas: sales, logistics, customer service, marketing, market access, compliance, finance/procurement).
You have practical experience of collaborating with (senior) business stakeholders in the above areas.
You have practical (demonstrated) experience with one or more from the following technologies and areas: SAP, Salesforce, Automation / RPA (eg. AppSheet, AppScript, UIPath and other low-code technologies), Analytics (eg. Snowflake, Tableau, Thoughtspot).
You have experience with one or more diagramming, mockuping and UI design tools (eg. Balsamiq, Draw.io, MS Visio, LucidChart, Enterprise Architect, Adobe XD, etc.).
You exhibit soft skills typically required as a BA (i.e. listening, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking).
You exhibit a Lean-Agile Mindset and can act as an Agile ambassador to display this mindset. Has practical knowledge of Agile frameworks/methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
You exhibit intellectual curiosity, and integrity and has a strong passion for bringing value-adding technology to the business and display the following values: Aspirational, Motivating, Collaborating across, One team Spirit, Be Focused, Fail Fast + Learn Fast, and Open Mindset.
