Assist IT
Manager on Working with the Director of Business
Support Director, develop medium and long-term strategic plans of
the Department in line with the Client’s vision, mission and strategic goals;
Assist IT
Manager on Establish departmental goals, methods, policies and procedures for implementing programmes in
alignment with the Sector and Authority’s strategic vision, mission and goals;
Assist on Establishing departmental plans which
project funding, feasibility, staffing, and time constraints of the department ensuring the availability ofrequired resources to carry out all the tasks
related to the IT Section (in coordination with HR Department);
Develop an IT Infrastructure Library service catalogue and IT asset
register so the IT team can forward plan for updating, replacing, ordering
equipment;
Assist on the operation of employees
operations in the IT Section in performing their delegated tasks;
Ensure that the performance of
various tasks and the conduct of the staff in the Section are in accordance
with the Client policies and procedures;
Development
and management of the IT Departmental budget for input to the Technical,
Security and Facility Management budget.
Provide infrastructure services vision, enable
innovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent
with the Business requirements and expectations.
Development of the strategy of the operations
strategy of the section to improve and enhance overall business continuity and
disaster recovery capabilities.
Prepares reports
on the overall unit performance of the ICT Section for the ICT Manager and the Technical
Operations Director.
Escalate issues, keep informed, advice and
receive instructions.
Management of the new technologies
studies to be analyzed for the Organization Technology Improvement. He/She
participates in the studies of the general technical architecture and its
evolution.
Ensure the application of the
departmental procedures and policies
Manage and contributes to theestablishment of the departmental goals,
methods, policies and procedures for implementing programmes in alignment with
the Sector and Authority’s strategic vision, mission and goals;
Contributes to established departmental plans
which project funding, feasibility, staffing, and time constraints of the
department ensuring the availability
of required resources to carry out all the tasks related to the IT Section (in
coordination with HR Department) ;
Provide clear direction to the team of the unit
to perform their tasks
Provide
activity report of the Unit
Establish metrics, key performance indicators,
and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IT
operations.
Ensure comprehensive disaster recovery
architecture is maintained and operations are in place
Lead a team of engineering and administration
professionals who with others define, manage and support the entire operations
infrastructure.
