Investor Relations Manager - (Emiratisation Initiative seeking Emirati talent in the UAE) Our client, one of the companies under the Sovereign fund of Abu Dhabi, is looking to hire an Investor Relations Manager - Abu Dhabi (Emiratisation Initiative seeking Emirati talent in the UAE). As the Manager of Investor Relations, you will be a key member of the corporate finance and communications team. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy, managing relationships with current and potential investors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting – CFO Job Responsibility:
Investor Communication:
Develop and maintain relationships with institutional and individual investors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and requests.
Prepare and deliver compelling investor presentations, earnings calls, and press releases.
Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of financial information and corporate updates.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute the investor relations strategy.
Participate in the development of the company's messaging and positioning for investors.
Monitor industry trends and peer company performance to provide insights to senior management.
Financial Analysis:
Analyse financial results, key performance indicators, and market trends to assess the company's performance.
Prepare financial reports, investor presentations, and other materials for investor meetings and conferences.
Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes to support investor relations activities.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant securities laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Stay up to date on changes in regulatory requirements affecting investor relations.
Shareholder Engagement:
Manage the company's shareholder registry and maintain accurate records.
Organize and coordinate annual shareholder meetings and proxy solicitation efforts.
Monitor and address shareholder concerns and feedback effectively.
Market Intelligence:
Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to provide insights into market positioning.
Monitor analyst reports, industry news, and market sentiment to inform investor relations strategies.
Continuous Improvement
Motivate one’s own team and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practice and changes in the competitive environment.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
Recommend improvements to company policy and directs the implementation of procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
MIS & Reports
Prepare MIS statements and reports pertaining to departmental needs to meet Company’s and the departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
Related Assignments
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with investors and analysts.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in financial software and investor relations tools.
CFA, MBA, ACCA, CA, Finance & Accounting or other relevant certifications would be a plus.
