Job Description:Intern (Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply)
Minimum Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE
Help evaluate investment opportunities and create consolidated review sheets
Lead financial model, market research, key analysis (retention analysis, competitive analysis etc.)
Depending on the performance and interest; Lead and represent Shorooq in key meetings (ex. Management Calls with Founders, Company Management Meetings and other Investor Meetings)
Assist in creating detailed investment memos to comprehensively analyze a business – later presented to high profile investors.
Engage with legal needs such as SPV share Transfer, term sheet review etc.
Interact with Shorooq portfolio companies and assist founders directly
Support the Company with any related administrative or analytical work
Qualifications:
Strong and thorough thinker with an aptitude for analytical work
Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
Have strong passion and genuine interest in investing and building companies
Thrive in flexible and lean environment
Have a proactive and positive approach toward discussions and are not afraid to share thoughts
Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and maturity
Professional skills in MSFT products – PPT, WORD and EXCEL
Having previous investment banking, consulting or investment experience is aPLUS
