We are looking for an Interface & Risk Engineer EGEP for one of our clients with the following details:  


Start Date: ASAP


Location: UAE with mission to Basra and Italy.


Duration: 12 months - Renewable


Qualifications/Experience required


  • Degree: Engineer (or equivalent formal qualification) in a recognized Engineering discipline.
  • Spirit of analysis, rigor, pragmatism.
  • Knowledge of company & Project procedures
  • Interpersonal & Negotiation Skills
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Oil &Gas Industry with similar large-scale projects & environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing) and Arabic is a plus.
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively across complex project teams and interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team.

Goals


  • The Interface and Risk Engineer is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to Interface Management, i.e.: responsible for the definition, development, implementation, and maintenance of an adequate Interface Management System. Is responsible of all Project Interfaces Activities related to EGEP Project until the completion of start-up and Hand over to Field Operation.

Activities:


  • The job holder is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to Interface Management, i.e.: responsible for the definition, development, implementation, and maintenance of an adequate Interface Management System. This includes the development of Interface policies, plans, procedures and requirements for Contractors, their implementation by Project teams and by Contractors and the control of their implementation and close-out all along the course of the Project.
  • The job position includes EGEP Project external interfaces management (AGUP-1, SGC, GMP,).
  • The job position will also include the risk management coordination.
  • In the Interfaces Management position, the main missions are:
  • Develop an Interface Management system for EGEP Project, including plans, policies, procedures and requirement to all involves parties: external to EGEP Projects (AGUP-1, SGC, GMP) and internal interfaces between DBOOM Contracts and the other EGEP activities (line pipes, early works, ERW.)
  • Define Interfaces with clear view on priorities
  • Coordinate the different interfaces amongst the involved parties.
  • Ensure Interfaces are solved timely and considering project quality, cost and contractual constraints.
  • Ensure Technical team under the responsibility of the Engineering Manager is involved in Technical Interfaces resolution.
  • Maintain an Interface Register
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, legislations, and directives in executing EGEP/ArtawiGA 25.
  • Provide clarifications to all stakeholders and where necessary organise meetings to solve technical issues.
  • Monitor and report progress of the interface’s resolution
  • Ensure effective and efficient communication and work relationship with all stakeholders involved in Interfaces with EGEP.
  • Participate to Projects and Contractor weekly, monthly meetings
  • Report regularly and through Project reporting Interfaces coordination progress
  • In the Risk Management position, the main missions are:
  • Develop a Risk Management Plan which encompass both Contractors risks and Company risks
  • Define Project risk and quantify each risk with risk owner. Risk will be quantified in accordance with their impact to Cost, Planning, Production, Reserves and H3SE. Finally, the risk will obtain an occurrence of probability.
  • Ensure all risks are followed with a mitigation plan
  • Maintain a Risk and Opportunity Register
  • Organise any necessary meetings with risk owners to track the risk resolution progress
  • Assist in providing mitigations measures to Risk owner.
  • Ensure effective and efficient communication and work relationship with all stakeholders involved in Risks and Opportunities with EGEP.
  • Coordinate externally to EGE Project
  • Report regularly and through Project reporting Risks coordination progress
