Interface Engineer

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Interface Management & Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact between ADNOC, Tecnimont, BUTEC, and other subcontractors.
• Identify, track, and manage all technical and execution-related interface points between civil, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines.

Design & Engineering Interface

• Review and ensure alignment of design packages (civil, structural, and electrical) from different engineering teams.
• Coordinate technical queries (TQ), Requests for Information (RFI), and other engineering clarifications between Tecnimont and BUTEC.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC specifications, international standards (IEC, IEEE, BS, etc.) and project requirements.
• Resolve any construction-related conflicts that may arise with subcontractors through Tecnimont.

Documentation & Approval Process

• Maintain an interface register to document all key interactions and ensure traceability.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

• Conduct regular interface meetings to discuss and resolve open issues.
• Work closely with ADNOC and Tecnimont teams to address any technical disputes.

HSE & Compliance

• Ensure that all interface-related activities comply with ADNOC’s HSE standards and regulations.
• Verify that civil works are executed safely without affecting electrical installations and vice versa.
• Participate in site audits, safety walkthroughs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
