EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Integrated Business Development Manager is a pivotal role in driving client growth and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, impactful pitches. This role focuses on the operational aspects of both client pitches and proposals, ensuring efficient resource allocation, timely execution, and seamless collaboration across teams. By streamlining processes and optimizing pitch development, the Integrated Business Development Manager plays a key role in maximizing the value proposition presented to clients and increasing win rates. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, assertive individual with a strong understanding of integrated digital marketing services, including Strategy, Creative, Social, SEO & Paid Media.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Project Management: Lead the operational project management of pitches from initiation to completion, defining timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Ensure adherence to internal and client deadlines.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources to pitches, ensuring the right expertise is available at the right time. Coordinate with subject matter experts, creative teams, and other stakeholders across other services like creative, social, paid media, SEO and data to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Pitch Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine pitch processes to reduce inefficiencies, minimize bottlenecks, and accelerate turnaround times. Implement best practices and standardized procedures to streamline workflows.
- Pitch Check-Ins and Dry Runs: Schedule and facilitate regular pitch check-ins and dry runs to ensure alignment across teams, gather feedback, and refine pitch content.
- Technical Pitch Deck Oversight: Ensure the technical pitch deck aligns with the client's business requirements and clearly communicates the value proposition. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate and compelling content.
- Client Brief Analysis: Thoroughly analyze client briefs to identify key requirements and objectives. Translate these into actionable tasks and deliverables for the pitch team.
- Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams involved in the pitch process. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and efficient execution.
- Performance Tracking: Track and analyze pitch performance metrics, such as win rates, time spent on revisions, and client feedback. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize pitch strategies.
QUALIFCATION:
- Proven Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in client servicing / agency operations ideally within a digital marketing agency or similar environment - with integrated experience in creative deliverables, paid media, SEO, Social and data & analytics.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in tools such as Hubspot, Harvest, Monday.com or similar tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each stakeholder.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve challenges in the pitch process.
TECHNICAL APTITUDE:
- Essential - Experience working on integrated digital accounts across platforms including but not limited to GMP, X, META, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat - showing versatility and adaptability in managing campaigns on various social media platforms, leveraging their unique strengths and audiences.
- Understanding of the Creative as a solution in context of the Brief: business context, target audience, brand maturity, requirements and expectations
- Understanding of SEO strategies and putting together a plan, including initial website audits
- Understanding how to optimize social organic in the context of compelling content, audience engagement and platform optimization. - Familiarity with technical concepts and terminology relevant to the industry. Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment .Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
