Job Summary:
The Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for managing motor insurance claims and third-party vehicle damage claims from initiation to settlement. The role involves close coordination with clients, insurance companies, surveyors, repair workshops, and legal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims in accordance with policy terms and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and process motor insurance claims including own damage (OD), third-party liability (TPL), and theft claims.
Handle third-party vehicle damage claims, including receiving notices, verifying liability, and coordinating with the legal team if needed.
Liaise with insurance companies, surveyors, and garages to ensure proper documentation and timely inspection and repair of vehicles.
Review and validate claim documents such as police reports, repair estimates, photos, and registration details.
Maintain accurate claim files and records, ensuring proper tracking from notification to closure.
Follow up with third parties and insurers on pending recoveries and claim settlements.
Assist in claim analysis, reporting trends, and identifying potential risk exposures.
Ensure compliance with UAE insurance laws and company policies in all claim processes.
Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding policy coverage and claim procedures.
Manage claim disputes or escalations and provide timely resolution or recommendations.
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field).
3–5 years of experience in motor insurance claims handling, preferably in the UAE.
Knowledge of UAE motor insurance regulations and third-party liability procedures.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office applications.
Detail-oriented with good time management and problem-solving skills.
Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
