Instrumentation, F&G Design Engineer

• Lead the initial procurement process for the in time procurement of the materials as per the Project Design requirements.
• Lead the construction and installation of fire and gas detection systems in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to safety protocols.
• Review and interpret design documents, drawings, and specifications related to fire and gas systems.
• Identify and resolve construction issues and challenges in a timely manner.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation related to F&G systems.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety on site.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in construction engineering, specifically related to fire and gas systems in high-voltage substations.
• Strong knowledge of fire and gas detection technologies and relevant industry codes (e.g., NFPA, IEC).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
