• Follow up with team to determine projects and plants control and instrumentations application and requirements
• Keeping organization up to date with advanced technologies, design trends and engineering best practices
• Conduct research, review, comment and approve instrumentation designs proposed by engineering contractors
• Review Engineering firms and vendors deliverables and proposals
• Review controlling design process and approve designs and shop drawings
• Support team in design new processes including generating PFDs and PID and select proper material of constructions
• Assist in the completion of process design studies.
• Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents and DCS/PLC configuration manual
• Overseeing the development and manufacturing of control panels and controlling systems at engineering firms and at suppliers’ end • Issuing Purchasing request for proposals, quotation and bids,
• Review offers and support Purchasing in instruments components procurement process
• Supervise and follow work execution at site during construction
• Help in developing Projects budgets
• Manage project timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrotechnical, Automation or similar Engineering
• Min7 years of Experience in Chemical plants or refinery Mechanical design Development
• Experience in Design, commissioning and startup of green field projects is a plus.
• Sound experience in using international codes
• Good experience in using Engineering software CAD
• Good experience in specifying control valves, flow and pressure meters, level indicators, DCS and PLC
• Good experience with DCS, SCADA and PLC systems
