In this role, You will influence internal and external stakeholders and leadership to buy in to your strategic direction, build a buying and sourcing strategy for a new category while ensuring flawless execution and continuously analyzing key metrics to drive improvements for your business.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive projects to support new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organization
• Identify automation opportunities to offer scalable solutions, improve key inputs metrics such as availability, shrinkage, concessions, fill rate.
• Work with product and central teams to enable tools for trans-shipment between Core FC and QC stores
• Support Category leader to drive new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organization
• Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved availability, fill rates, inventory planning and shrinkages
• Partner with internal teams to help create and drive tools and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflow
• Drive process improvement and operational excellence within our vendor community by reducing costs, defects, and lead times, while increasing innovation, automation, and economies of scale
• Drive complex business analysis that identifies opportunities to improve cost structure and profitability
• Partner with UFG program manager/ Retail in-stock and vendor managers in driving sales and profitability growth
• Engage with Retail in-stock managers to ensure adequate inventory planning during Tier 1 & Tier 2 events to ensure we continue to offer value to our Prime Customers
A day in the life
This position involves regular communication with senior leadership on Business and customer offering reviews, Operations excellence improvement areas, project execution and risks. You should be comfortable working both at a strategic level and diving deep into the details to ensure solution feasibility and quality of execution.
- - 5+ years of with Excel experience
- - Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of professional experience in supply chain / consulting
- - Experience working with complex data sets

- - Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
- - MBA from a premier Institute with 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain / consulting
