KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is embarking on an exciting growth phase, expanding its direct presence in seven regions. KONE is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Installation Engineer to join our Dubai office. This role involves planning, managing, and overseeing the contracted scope of work, with responsibility for the safe, high-quality, and efficient installation of KONE solutions, in line with the agreed schedule and budget.

As part of this role, you will embody KONE's values daily, serving as a role model for others. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring high-quality installations while enhancing the safety and performance of equipment. You will also act as the KONE point of contact for customers at the installation site, coordinating with other stakeholders throughout the installation process. Additionally, you will support the sales team and the technical sales support team during pre-tender, tender, and order activities as required.

Are you the one?
At least five years of experience in elevator and escalator installation.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Ability to ensure safety, quality, and productivity throughout the installation process, from handover to the identification and correction of any non-conformities.
Thorough understanding of KONE installation methods, along with the ability to conduct a proper risk assessment for installation elements where KONE methods aren't provided.
Proficient in site preparations, ensuring site readiness, conducting site visits and audits, and resolving any site-related issues with the customer.
Oversee the project plan, including scheduling material delivery to the site, coordinating installation activities, and managing handovers.
Responsible for planning installation activities, site storage, logistics, and managing the necessary resources and tools.
Perform handovers between installers and subcontractors, manage installation progress, conduct final equipment testing, and oversee handovers to maintenance.
Manage quality claims and feedback, approve timesheets, handle installation documentation, report on installation progress and status, track costs, assess risks, and oversee scheduling and other changes.
Excellent communication skills in English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.
