Purpose
We are looking for an Industrial Design Officer to create, develop and implement a wide range of creative and artistic designs to support the business in following visual and branding guidelines. You will be working with our Events & Industrial Design team covering the design of physical spaces such as airport lounges, exhibitions, stand design and much more!
Accountabilities
- Coordinate with business departments to identify and detail design requirements
- Initiate, monitor and finalize developed concepts and samples for business requirements
- Develop creative concept designs in coordination with our marketing team to ensure alignment with national and international market trends
- Coordinate implementation of creative projects with external suppliers for the production of final materials to ensure accuracy and on time delivery
- Enhance continuously proper skills in use of graphics software and in specialization area, to ensure up-to-date knowledge of materials, production methods and of national and international trends.
- Create all rendered drawings in a 3D perspective of all required corporate brand projects
- Create virtual models of various designs using 3D max – Vray or corona rendering, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
- Produce documentation "Specification/Bill of Quantities (BOQ)" which reflect design specifications
- Managing suppliers by outlining production specifications, material selection, technical drawing review and correction, production, and installation oversight
- Observe production to verify suppliers adhere to specifications and provide high-quality deliveries.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Diploma (2 years or more type of qualification)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in related position, with a portfolio of work to present during the selection process
- Experience in advertisement or creative agency, preferably working within complex hospitality/airlines spaces or adjacent industries in high-paced environment
- Well-developed technical and creative skills
- Creative, self-driven, with high attention to detail and able to work as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, ability to present ideas and concepts to management
- Travel will be required
