A rare opportunity to work closely with a well-established, and growing international private equity firm based in Dubai, that is currently going through a massive transformation with numerous projects in the pipeline.
The team is looking to hire an experienced generalist corporate commercial lawyer (6+ PQE) in the region, to act as the go-to in-house legal counsel. The role involves working in a relatively lean team, reporting directly to the CEO and COO of the business.
The ideal candidate will be qualified in the UK, Australia, Canada, South Africa or the US with a mix of private practice and in-house experience, gained within the UAE. The role will involve a mix of corporate/commercial transactional and advisory matters including: private equity, joint ventures, project development, investment funds, real estate/construction, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and the ongoing day to day operations. Knowledge and experience of UAE laws and regulations is essential for this position.
