ID BIM MODELER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for interior design projects using Revit.
• Ensure models comply with project standards and BIM execution plans.
• Model interior spaces, including furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
• Integrate interior design models with architectural, structural, and MEP models.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings to ensure cohesive designs.
• Resolve design clashes and inconsistencies using Navisworks for clash detection.
• Generate accurate construction documents, including drawings, schedules, and specifications from BIM models.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date project documentation.
• Prepare presentations and visualizations for client meetings.
• Perform quality checks on models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Implement and adhere to best practices for BIM modeling and project execution.
• Work closely with interior designers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively to ensure that design intent is accurately represented in the BIM models.
  

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a design consultancy environment, with a focus on interior design.
• Proven experience in BIM modeling for interior design projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit software for BIM modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Familiarity with other relevant software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering tools.
• Understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations related to interior design.
• Must be locally available in the UAE.
