The magnificent, towering dunes echo with stories of travellers and desert tribes that have roamed and settled here for centuries.Job DescriptionThe Hygiene Officer will lead below responsibilities under OHS Manager of the Executive Office department Leadership:Implement, monitor and maintain food safety policies in line with regulatory standards.Ensure compliance with local regulations related to food safety and hygiene in kitchen, storage, service areas and water bottling plants.Assist OHS Manager in conducting regular Internal Food Safety Inspections and audits.Prepare Internal inspection and audit reports for Food safety & Hygiene.Recommend corrective actions and verify if they are completed adequately.Verify HACCP/ Food safety documents.Assist OHS Manager in food safety document updating, controlling and filing.Update EFST tracking sheets and ensure that all food handlers are EFST certified.Train staff on food handling and hygiene practices. Update training matrix and training tracking sheets.Assist OHS Manager in food safety incident investigation and preparation of reports.Verify compliance of monthly laboratory sample results for food, water, hand swabs and contact surface swabs.Assist OHS Manager in verifying food supplier selection and in conducting supplier audits.Participate in Food Safety/ HACCP meetings and assist OHS Manager in preparing the minutes of the meeting.Updating and communicating with the team on latest changes in local and international regulations related to food safety.Assist in any other requirements related to food safety and hygiene as it may ariseQualificationsLuxury hotel experience is a mustPassion for excellent serviceExcellent team player and great communication skillsThe ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an international ultra-luxury resort.Additional InformationRelocate to Remote Area
