Review and interpret HVAC design drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for HVAC systems.
Supervise site activities related to HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
Liaise with consultants, clients, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution.
Perform site inspections to verify progress and quality of HVAC works.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of HVAC materials and equipment.
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and relevant UAE/local codes and regulations.
Assist in quantity take-offs, project planning, and resource allocation.
Prepare progress reports, snag lists, and documentation for project close-out and handover.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC systems, preferably with contracting companies in the UAE/GCC.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with HVAC design software is a plus.
Strong knowledge in HVAC equipment selection, ductwork, chilled water systems, ventilation systems, and controls.
Experience in handling site execution, coordination, and resolving MEP conflicts.
Excellent communication, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Must be locally available in the UAE and able to join immediately.
