HVAC BIM MODELER

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and manage detailed BIM models for HVAC systems using software like Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop accurate 3D models for HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and related systems.
• Ensure all HVAC models comply with relevant design standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and structural engineers to resolve design conflicts and optimize system integration.
• Perform clash detection using tools such as Navisworks and resolve identified conflicts within HVAC systems.
• Participate in design coordination meetings to ensure smooth integration and delivery of HVAC systems within the overall project design.
• Produce detailed shop drawings, schematics, and layouts for HVAC systems based on BIM models.
• Maintain and update As-Built models as required, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards, such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local authority regulations.
• Maintain high-quality standards in all HVAC BIM deliverables and documentation.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HVAC BIM modeling, ideally in the UAE or GCC countries.
• Experience with design consulting firms in the Middle East is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in BIM software, especially Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of HVAC system design principles, regulations, and standards.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and requirements in the GCC.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
