Job Description
The HSSE Permit to work officer will be responsible for all Permit to work/LOTO of the Project, managing of all project activities and processes and providing appropriate levels of HSSE advice whenever required. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities are carried out to a high standard in accordance with Masdar requirements and are transparent and supported by appropriate documentation
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, environmental sciences, social sciences, or related discipline • Trained and certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 (preferred) PTW and LOTO Training certifications from approved third party consultants
Preferred Experience: • At least 5-8 years in HSSE management Permit to work and LOTO system in a large organization including at least 3 years in a managerial role in renewable energy projects (onshore wind is an asset) • Experience in UAE gaining strong knowledge and understanding of local rules, regulations, systems, and processes related to sustainability
