As the HR Director for Richemont in the UAE, you will lead the design and execution of the HR strategy, aligning with regional and global objectives. Your role will be pivotal in driving localization initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting Maisons in HR mandates, and enhancing Richemont’s reputation in the UAE. As the UAE country HR Lead, you will be the primary liaison with governmental bodies and will champion initiatives that foster a high-performance, inclusive, and compliant organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership: Implement the UAE Richemont People Strategy, act as a strategic partner to the Richemont Regional Function Executive Committee, provide country HR advisory support to Maison HR teams, and drive HR governance and policy adherence.
Localization & Emiratization Strategy: Develop and lead a comprehensive Emiratization strategy, establish partnerships with local government bodies, and monitor and report on localization KPIs.
Compliance, Government Relations & Reputation Management: Act as the primary liaison with UAE government authorities, proactively monitor legislative and regulatory changes, lead HR compliance audits, develop and implement internal compliance frameworks, and align HR strategies with sustainability and ESG objectives.
Talent Management & Development: Lead the design and execution of Richemont talent strategies, oversee talent assessment and career development programs.
Compensation, Benefits & Organizational Design: Oversee compensation planning, salary reviews, and benefits strategies, provide strategic guidance on organizational structure, and partner with internal stakeholders to ensure competitive compensation packages.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize HR processes, leverage digital tools and technologies, and support cross-functional HR initiatives.
Leadership, People Management & HR Community Engagement: Foster and animate the HR community across the UAE, co-define and co-manage the HR governance structure.
Change Management & Cultural Development: Champion change management initiatives, promote a cohesive, diverse, and inclusive work environment, and drive employee engagement.
To thrive in this role as HR Director, you should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 10-12 years of HR leadership experience, ideally within the UAE or the wider MEIA region. A strong expertise in localization strategies, compliance frameworks, and government relations is essential, alongside proven experience in talent management, organizational development, and HR transformation. Excellent stakeholder management skills are crucial, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels, as is a strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulatory frameworks.
