We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking House Maid to maintain a clean, organized, and well-kept household in a private residence in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and general household chores. The role requires attention to detail, discretion, and a strong work ethic to ensure the household runs smoothly and comfortably.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Cleaning & Housekeeping:
General Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces throughout the house.
Deep Cleaning: Regularly carry out deep cleaning of all areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Tasks may include washing windows, scrubbing tiles, and cleaning appliances.
Sanitizing: Disinfect and sanitize high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and kitchen counters.
Laundry: Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothes, bed linens, and household items. Iron clothes as required.
Bed Making: Change bed linens and make beds in all bedrooms each day. Ensure linens are fresh and organized.
Organization: Ensure that all rooms are tidy and organized, including closets, storage areas, and common areas.
2. Kitchen and Meal Preparation:
Meal Assistance: Help prepare meals based on dietary requirements and preferences. This could include preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks. Occasionally assist with meal planning.
Grocery Shopping: Assist with grocery shopping as needed, ensuring food supplies are stocked and stored properly.
Kitchen Maintenance: Clean the kitchen after meal preparation, including washing dishes, wiping down counter tops, and organizing kitchenware.
3. Household Maintenance & Errands:
Pet Care: If applicable, assist with the care of any household pets, including feeding, walking, and grooming.
Errands: Run errands such as picking up dry cleaning, purchasing groceries, mailing parcels, and other minor tasks as requested.
Seasonal Cleaning: Help with seasonal tasks such as washing windows, cleaning outdoor areas, or tidying the garage or garden spaces.
4. Support and Assistance:
General Household Support: Provide general support to the family members as needed. This may include helping with children or elderly family members, assisting with household events, or running light errands.
Ad-hoc Requests: Fulfill special requests from the family members, such as organizing a room, packing for travel, or setting up a family gathering.
RequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Must have (1-3 years experience) as a housemaid, domestic worker, or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and organizational skills. Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Time Management: Ability to manage daily tasks efficiently, prioritize effectively, and stay organized.
Trustworthiness & Reliability: Must be dependable and demonstrate a high level of integrity, as this position involves working in a private home.
Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in English or Arabic for effective communication. Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when necessary.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as cleaning, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
Flexibility: Must be flexible with working hours, including being available for occasional weekend work or additional hours, depending on the family's needs.
