Job Description

Guest Relations & Seating Management:


  • Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
  • Manage and coordinate table reservations efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized and accurate seating plan to optimize table turnover.
  • Handle special guest requests, including VIPs and personalized dining preferences.

Reservation & Communication:


  • Manage reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
  • Confirm and follow up on reservations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the restaurant team regarding guest preferences, dietary restrictions, or special occasions.

Customer Service & Hospitality:


  • Provide guests with information about the menu, restaurant specialties, and promotions.
  • Assist in handling guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of personal grooming and adhere to hotel uniform standards.
  • Uphold the five-star hospitality standards of the hotel by delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Administrative & Organizational Tasks:


  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Maintain and update guest records for future reference.
  • Support the restaurant team in daily operations when needed.
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations as per hotel policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (a hospitality degree is a plus).
  • Previous experience as a hostess in a luxury restaurant or five-star hotel is preferred.
  • Knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, ResDiary) is an advantage.
