Estimation & Costing: Lead and oversee the preparation of cost estimates projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
Technical & Commercial Analysis: Evaluate project specifications, customer requirements, and technical designs to develop comprehensive and cost-effective solutions.
Tender & Proposal Management: Manage the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing, technical specifications, and cost-effective solutions.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks related to cost, execution, and technology selection, developing mitigation strategies.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with sales, engineering, and project engineers to ensure alignment in proposal development.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to maintain competitive edge.
Process Optimization: Continuously refine estimation processes, cost modeling methodologies, and bid strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Bid Accuracy: Maintain an estimation accuracy rate of at least 95% compared to actual project costs.
Win Rate: Achieve a minimum bid success rate of 50% on submitted proposals.
Cost Optimization: Ensure cost savings of at least 5-10% through vendor negotiations and value engineering.
Proposal Turnaround Time: Ensure completion of high-quality proposals within defined timelines (typically 2- 5 days depending on project complexity).
Process Improvement Initiatives: Implement at least two major process improvements annually in estimation and bid preparation.
Team Development: Conduct at least three training sessions annually to enhance team skills in cost estimation and project evaluation.
Market Analysis & Competitor Benchmarking: Provide quarterly reports on industry trends and competitive pricing insights.
Minimum Requirement
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Civil Engineering. Masters Preferred
Minimum of 18 years of experience in cost estimation, proposal management, or technical sales within the Electromechanical contracting company/MEP Companies/Waste treatment industries in GCC.
Proven track record in leading estimation teams and winning high-value projects.
