The Role
In this role you will be required to lead and manage the provision of independent and objective audit services over International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) in the Middle East and Global Private Banking (GPB) in Channel Islands Isle of Man (CIIOM) & United Kingdom (UK). They will play an integral role in annual and ongoing audit planning and deliver audits in line with the audit plan, leading and supervising audits, and providing oversight of the end-to-end audit process. You will be required to attend relevant governance forums, as required, and engage with and maintain open communication with senior management, providing constructive challenge as and when required. Furthermore, you will be required to provide leadership to your team, create the conditions for high performance, and advocate for the function within the organisation. They will drive GIA’s purpose, ambition and strategy, which includes furthering GIA’s digital strategy to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of assurance activities.
