About the Job: 


  • Ensure the hostess desk or door is always manned to provide a friendly and prompt welcome to all guests upon arrival.
  • Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services according to Restaurant Reservations SOP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use the F&B Enquiry/Booking checklist to handle restaurant enquiries and bookings professionally and according to established standards.
  • Greet guests warmly, escort them as required, and familiarize yourself with the menu to confidently answer guest queries about dishes and drinks.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all in-house services and local information to assist guests effectively with their enquiries.
  • Identify guest needs and expectations accurately, including those with special requirements, and provide appropriate products, services, or information aligned with the Heart of Jumeirah standards.
  • Maintain awareness of the dining room layout, table numbers, service stations, and colleagues working during each shift to facilitate smooth service.
  • Answer telephone calls within 3 rings using the Jumeirah International Standard script, handling inquiries and reservations professionally and courteously.
About you:
  • Microsoft Office (Basic Knowledge)
  • Micros, Epicure Restaurant Reservation system
  • Proficient in English (Read/Write/ Speak – Essential)
