Position Overview
The Event Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution, from conception to completion. This includes developing event concepts, coordinating logistics , managing budgets, and ensuring seamless execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management and marketing and communications, with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute events from inception to completion Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas tailored to agencies objectives . Manage budgets and logistics to ensure seamless execution Oversee event marketing and promotion strategies in collaboration with stakeholders Supervise onsite operations, including staff coordination and issue resolution Liaise with clients and partners to align expectations and deliver outstanding results Supervise event setup, execution, and dismantling. Manage event staff, including volunteers, ushers, and clients. Maintain effective communication on the activities of the department with internal and external stakeholders by making sure relevant updates are followed; attend the business communication meetings and other professional networking events to ensure effective business collaboration established . Analyze post-event feedback and data to continuously improve future event planning and execution. Prepare event reports, gathering data on attendance, engagement, and outcomes, and identifying opportunities to enhance future events.
Key skills experience:
5+ years of experience in events management and marketing, preferably in the region Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail. Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure Passion f or marketing and communications * Strong project management and organizational abilities
