Your Role As a key contributor to strategic client partnerships, this role works closely with Key Account Management to drive joint value creation initiatives that benefit both the client and the company. The focus is on a client-centric, value-driven approach that spans multiple Business Units to deliver innovative solutions across the customer's supply chain. By managing proactive consultative supply chain projects and developing tailored solutions, the role leverages the full suite of company offerings to create demand for up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. This position requires a keen understanding of customer demands, balancing service levels, costs, and carbon emissions through a demand-driven service offering. The role also involves contributing to vertical innovation and growth by collaborating with Global Business Development Heads and Business Units to identify and develop new areas of opportunity. Your Responsibilities
Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, proactively introduce supply chain design methodology, and qualify opportunities with key stakeholders to secure buy-in to proceed.
Prepare and conduct internal and external sessions to understand and address customers' supply chain strategies and challenges.
Lead the creation of KN value propositions and deliver compelling business cases in alignment with respective business units, formalizing clients' strategic positioning, operational models, and scenarios.
Introduce value propositions jointly with the account team to the client, and transition agreed solutions to the appointed Kuehne+Nagel implementation lead.
Actively participate in Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes that require strategic solution elements and innovative proposals.
Contribute to formalizing innovation as a result of delivered projects, as well as supporting vertical-specific value proposition developments.
Design and execute Continuous Integration programs using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, build strong client relationships, and integrate continuous improvement principles across service delivery.
Identify strategic sustainability demands and develop a sustainability program/framework incorporating tactical sustainability activities (SBTI avoid and reduce).
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's or First University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
Experience in process mapping and re-engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
Strategic Supply Chain Management knowledge
Freight Forwarding and 4th Party Logistics operational knowledge from Manufacturing or Consulting.
Continuous Improvement Process methodology knowledge.
Fluent English is a must, any additional language is a plus.
