JOB PURPOSE

If you are a Traditional trade expert with brilliant understanding of route to market fundamentals a long with the right distributor management capabilities that will allow you to set the right growth plans for WS, Value for Money and Sel service channels. If you are someone who can drive strategic influencing between stakeholders, demonstrate team commitment and leadership within the geographic scope and enable data-driven decision making then this role is just for you.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Responsible for the UAE GT Business which Contributes approx. 30% of UAE business.
- Understand the triggers and barriers of the “Route to Market” plans and develop different programs to drive business growth
- Adapt and execute the “Route to Market” strategy in line with the business expected growth agenda
- Manage the customer relationships with Distributors & Wholesalers.
- Design & co-implement loyalty programs for key WS, contracts for Self-service and groceries.
- Design growth strategy for Value for money & discounters’ channel.
- Design and implement pricing strategy between different GT channels in line with Unilever category ambitions.
- Lead Coverage expansions plan with the distributor team.
- Manage, plan and implement new channels Distribution Projects along with turning around growth channels like VFM
- Responsible for the capability build up of GT Team
- Effectively lead the Sales team to consistently deliver the growth ambition
- Responsible for Merchandising activities in RTM in line with Company overall merchandising plan
- Analyse the competitive environment & market trends to identify alternative RTM opportunities, and adapt strategies to harness extra opportunities
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in sales with strong history of turning around GT business and exposure in managing other channels with RTM & distributor management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communication, negotiation & infleuncing skills.
- Objective analytical & strategic power
- Valid Driving License.
- Proficiency of English and Hindi language. Arabic is a plus.
