linvestigating, diagnosingand treating medically or surgically ill patients referred to his specialty,according to his privileges and in collaboration and mentorship of the SSR andthe consultant.
Participates in teachingactivities in the Department and provides regular seminars or presentations.
Involvement in research,quality-related activities, and other clinical/administrative meetings whendeemed necessary by the head of the department and the hospital administration.
Involvement in thedepartmental and hospital-wide performance monitoring & Improvementactivities.
Attains the best practicesin his field and constantly seeks to update his/her medical knowledge andskills.
Assists in promoting healtheducation through providing education and support for junior staff andinvolvement in continuous medical education (CME).
Undertakes some managerialresponsibilities such as workload planning and staffing of the department.
Maintains the highestprofessional standards of conduct in line with organization's policies andprocedures and internationally accepted standards.
Represents the Departmentin committees and taskforces, if assigned.
Performs other applicabletasks and duties.
