General Accountant (Temporary)

General Accountant (Short-Term Contract 3 Months, Extendable)

Work Hours: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Location: Marina Plaza, Dubai Marina, Dubai

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our internal finance team for a short-term project. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, analytical abilities, and proficiency in accounting software to support financial reporting and account reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve financial discrepancies through detailed analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Assist with VAT and corporate tax compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a General Accountant in the UAE.
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and UAE tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
