ROLE SUMMARY
Plans, creates, and produces marketing, advertising, and sales promotion materials to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives. Produces informational material for the sales force and for communications media.
What you’ll do
Develops and/or facilitates the development and creation of the promotional plan and programs and ensure their consistency with the brand strategy. Develops and manages the promotion /communication budget and project timelines. Collaborates with brand team to make a convincing case for appropriate budget and expectations for marketing opportunities. Maintains awareness of competitive activity in consumer marketing Manages overall relationships with advertising agencies and other vendors. Responsible for the implementation of promotional/communication strategies, plans and programs in support of brand strategies and objectives. Provides input into Communication Planning and Operational Planning
Essential for the role
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Pharmaceuticals or science)
For Internal Candidates: Minimum 5 years of Experience in pharmaceutical industry, with at least one year in AstraZeneca.
For External Candidates: Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing roles in Oncology/ Specialty care in GCC.
Desirable for the role
Strategic Thinking: Develop short & long-term brand strategies. Communication Skills: Engage effectively with internal & external stakeholders. Project Management: Organize and manage multiple projects to align with brand objectives.

My role right now as we build out our anifrolumab sales team is really selling AstraZeneca. We have a lot of talented people raising their hand, asking to join this sales team for good reason. We have a great product that will ultimately help patients but more than that, we have a great company and a great company culture that every candidate that I talked to when they do their research, they always come back and say, I've heard nothing but great things. As a new employee myself, I can attest to that fact, I talked to three or four people that I have a lot of respect for that are now at AstraZeneca before I joined the company. And again, heard nothing but good things and two months in, I can definitely attest that that was all factual as well. So really, really great opportunity for us to grow our business, bring in talented people who share our mission and share our vision.
