We are seeking an
experienced Orion ERP Frontend Support professional with a minimum of 6
years of work experience in ORION ERP. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for understanding functional ORION ERP requirements through the
review of Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Software Technical
Specifications, and providing ongoing support to development teams. This role
requires extensive knowledge of Oracle database concepts, MS BI, Oracle
programming, and the ability to work with various data formats like CSV, Excel, and text files.
Key Responsibilities:
·Gain proficiency in ORION ERP and MS Power BI, showcasing
adaptability to diverse software platforms.
·Utilize Toad for Oracle to manage and optimize database
queries, ensuring high-performance data retrieval.
·Translate functional requirements into detailed technical
designs and provide feedback to development teams for alignment with business
objectives.
·Prepare and review comprehensive technical specifications,
ensuring they accurately reflect the needs outlined in Functional Specification
Documents (FSD).
·Validate business test cases and user stories to ensure the
final product meets all functional and performance requirements.
·Lead core-user training and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
sessions with project stakeholders, ensuring a smooth handover of the system.
·Analyze and optimize requirements to improve system
performance and scalability, ensuring seamless integration with existing
enterprise applications.
·Implement robust ORION retail XenApp solutions within Citrix
environments to ensure reliable access and performance.
·Troubleshoot and resolve complex ERP-related issues,
providing technical support and ensuring minimal downtime.
·Develop and maintain detailed documentation on custom Oracle
solutions, including changes made to the database, interfaces, and reports.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the
business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
·Monitor, analyze, and report on system performance, offering
optimization strategies as necessary.
·Review and refine Oracle procedures, packages, and triggers
to enhance system efficiency.
·Assist in the development and maintenance of data
integration processes, including importing and exporting data across different
systems (CSV, Excel, XML).
·Support system upgrades and patches by performing impact
assessments and ensuring compatibility with custom solutions.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data analysis,
reporting, and dashboard creation.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field.
·Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with ORION ERP,
including full lifecycle implementation and support.
·Strong understanding of Oracle programming concepts,
database design, and query optimization.
·Relevant certifications in Oracle databases (such as Oracle
Certified Professional), Power BI, and other ERP systems (such as Oracle ERP
Cloud or similar) are plus and highly desirable.
·Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting
skills.
Mandatory Skills:
·Working
knowledge of Table design, joins, creation of account masters, sub-queries,
views, exceptions, triggers, functions, procedures, packages, bulk collect,
collections, arrays, index, Oracle predefined packages, query fine-tuning,
Oracle DB, and data dictionary.
·Minimum
6 years of work experience in ORION ERP.
