If you’d like to embrace a wider world of experiences and opportunities, we’d like to welcome you to join the team as Food & Beverage Assistant cum Hostess and let us help you create a career journey like no other.As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to: Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the restaurant. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring proper seating arrangements. Handle and manage reservations, confirming bookings and managing table assignments. Present the menu to guests, explain daily specials, and answer any menu-related questions. Assist guests with placing orders and ensure accurate communication with the kitchen staff. Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service. Attend to guests' needs and requests promptly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Assist with processing bills and payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set up according to hotel standards. Assist in planning and executing special events and functions within the restaurant. Participate in promotional activities to enhance the guest experience and promote the restaurant.Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality or food and beverage service is advantageous. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, welcoming demeanor. Excellent verbal communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues. Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reservations, orders, and billing. Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve guest issues and concerns. Adherence to hotel grooming standards and maintaining a professional appearance. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
