The Flight Operations Engineer will support the department in management of Operations Engineering activities related to Line Operations, Aircraft Performance, Operations Planning and Optimisation, Aircraft Weight & Balance, Fuel and Sustainability, Aircraft Documentations, Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Performance Applications, Airport Compatibility studies etc. This role also involves undertaking special programmes & projects such as new aircraft & technology evaluation, aircraft & mission analysis, operational procedures analysis etc. Identification, development, and implementation of new process & procedures, technologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency of the department.

In this role, you will:
- Support Line Manager in evaluating, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures related to Aircraft Performance for Take-off, En-route, and Landing, ensuring their safety and regulatory compliance. This activity involves Take-off Performance- Constant monitoring, validation, and update of airport databases. Design, validate, and implement of Engine Out procedures. En-route Performance. Design, validate, and implement escape procedures for Drift down and Depressurisation. Landing - Design, validate, and implement Landing and Go-Around Procedures. Performance Applications: Manage all aspects of EFB performance applications.
- Support and guidance to Dispatch and Pilots with regards to any query or issues faced during operations. Evaluate and implement policies and procedures related to special aircraft performance such as Dispatch with Landing Gear Down, Three Engines Ferry Flight, and Dispatch under MEL items etc.
- Design, validate and produce Aircraft Load & Trimsheet and Aircraft Handling Manual ( AHM) based on Weight & Balance Manual and Weight Report.
- To act as a SME for Flight Operations Engineering to monitor, review and provide solution to operational engineering issues faced on day-to-day operation. This involves analysing Voyage Reports, Captain Special Reports, Air Safety Reportsand providing necessary operations engineering solution. Co-ordinate with all concerned departments like Engineering, Cargo, Dispatch, Quality and Safety etc. to find and implement the most optimum solution for a given problem.
- To act as Flight Operations SME for co-ordination with Engineering department for evaluation and implementation of aircraft Service Bulletins, ADs, Modifications, and development of Aircraft Specifications.
- Support the Line Manager in Fleet Planning and Route Planning activities using Performance Applications and Flight Planning Tool. Assist in the process of aircraft and engine evaluation and selection. Participate in Aircraft Performance Guarantees and Warranties establishment, monitoring, and verification.
- Support in management of operational data coming from several sources within the company. Development and maintenance of databases & dashboards and application of data analytics to support business decisions for improvement of operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and supervise technical contents, customisation, revision, and production of Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM), Quick Reference Handbook (QRH) and Minimum Equipment List (MEL) for all Emirates aircraft. This involves follow up of in-service related operational issues such as management of Flight Operations Transmissions (FOT), MOMs, Temporary Revisions (TRs), Operational Engineering Bulletin (OEBs). To ensure that all operational documentation and data is updated in a timely manner in accordance with UAE GCAA regulations and Company policy.
- To support Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) process related to data capture, retrieval, analysis and reporting.
- Participate in Test and Check flights as Test Flight Engineer. Conduct Performance Courses for Emirates pilots.
