ExecuJet Middle East is currently seeking a flight Engineer to provide Flight Engineering Support to one of our aircrafts within our fleet.

Reports To: Line Basis (Daily): Functional Basis:LC / PIC Continued Airworthiness Manager (CAM)

Qualification: Bachelors degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or related field. UAE GCAA Licence, EASA/FAA, Type ratings
Work Experience (length/type): 3- 5 Years experience as flight engineer or similar role required.
Background: Corporate Aviation preferred
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English. Additional languages would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
-The Flight Engineer is responsible for supporting the aircraft with maintenance that is carried out before flight to ensure that the aircraft is fit for the intended flight.
- Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved
Duties :
- Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification of aircraft defects in accordance with the terms of his validation.
- Communicate to the LC/PIC in a proactive manner any defects found or suspected on the aircraft, engine or accessory that may compromise safety of the aircraft schedule.
-Communicate and coordinate any/all defects found on the aircraft with the contracted CAMO.
- Ensure all maintenance work be carried out in accordance with the Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and the Approved Maintenance Program (AMP).
- Comply with the instructions in the EJME Operations Manual (OM) and contracted CAMO’s CAME.
- Update aircraft FMS Database as required.
- Supervise all maintenance performed by contracted AMO in accordance with the instructions/Work authorization from the contracted CAMO.
- Ensure that all defects are correctly recorded in the Technical and Cabin defects log and communicated to the contracted CAMO
- Ensure that all safety hazards/incidents are reported to the contracted CAMO and Operator
- Take on other duties within his capacity as delegated from time to time.
- Ensure individual License, Approvals, Validations, airside passes, passport, visas and vaccinations remain valid; and
- Maintain the highest standards in all work practices.
- Take all precautions to not work alone – especially at night or at heights without restraint equipment or proper steps with guards’
- Wear appropriate PPE and abide by local/international airport and H&S regulations
Scope:
The Flight Engineer work scope in accordance with EASA AMC 145.A.10 is limited to:
- Trouble shooting.
- Defect rectification.
- Component replacement with use of external test equipment if required.
- Component replacement may include components such as engines and propellers.
- Scheduled maintenance and/or checks including visual inspections that will detect obvious unsatisfactory conditions/discrepancies but do not require extensive in-depth inspection. It may also include internal structure, systems and power plant items which are visible through quick opening access panels/doors; and
- Minor repairs and modifications which do not require extensive disassembly and can be accomplished by simple means.
