As a Fleet Operations Manager for a leading Food and Beverage Delivery Services company in Dubai, UAE, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the company's fleet of vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to customers and maintaining the overall fleet performance. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in fleet management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations, including route planning, vehicle utilization, and driver scheduling.
  2. Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, such as fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and delivery timeframes, and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and industry standards, including driver licensing, vehicle inspections, and insurance requirements.
  4. Manage a team of drivers and fleet maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  5. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as warehouse managers and customer service teams, to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.
  6. Implement and maintain fleet management software and systems to track vehicle locations, maintenance schedules, and driver performance.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, such as fuel suppliers and maintenance providers, to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.
  8. Analyze and report on fleet operations data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Knowledge of local transportation regulations and industry standards.
  6. Proficiency in fleet management software and systems.
  7. Ability to analyze data and generate comprehensive reports.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  10. Valid driver's license.
