Summary:
The Fleet Driver with Sales Responsibilities is essential to AQAD’s logistics and field sales
operations. This role involves driving to retailer and supplier locations, assisting with product
loading and unloading, supporting on-site sales efforts, and ensuring timely delivery. The ideal
candidate is proactive, physically capable, and committed to providing excellent service while
contributing to sales initiatives and efficient product handling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Delivery & Loading/Unloading
Drive to designated retailer and supplier locations to deliver and pick up goods.
Load and unload products as per client and supplier requirements, ensuring safe and
accurate handling.
Verify delivery items against orders, ensuring quantity and quality are correct.
2. On-Site Sales Support
Provide information about AQAD’s platform and product offerings, supporting sales
efforts with retailers.
Promote AQAD’s referral program, encouraging clients to refer other retailers and
suppliers to the platform.
Assist with product display setup and ensure promotional materials are visible at delivery
points.
3. Inventory Management
Coordinate with suppliers and the logistics team to track and manage product inventory
for deliveries.
Confirm and record product details (SKUs, quantities, etc.) during pickups and deliveries
for accurate inventory management.
4. Route Planning & Scheduling
Plan and follow optimized routes to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective operations.
Communicate with the logistics team regarding any delays or issues encountered on the
route.
5. Safety & Compliance
Follow all UAE driving regulations and AQAD’s safety protocols during product handling
and delivery.
Maintain the delivery vehicle in excellent condition, reporting any issues to the logistics
manager immediately.
6. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain positive relationships with retailers and suppliers, acting as an
ambassador of AQAD in the field.
Respond courteously to client inquiries or concerns, providing updates on deliveries as
needed.
Must-Have Skills and Expertise
Driving and Logistics Experience: Valid UAE driver’s license with experience in logistics,
transportation, or field delivery.
Sales & Customer Service Skills: Comfortable engaging with clients and explaining product
details, promotional offers, and AQAD’s service benefits.
Physical Capability: Able to handle heavy lifting, loading, and unloading of goods, with
attention to safety and proper product handling.
Time Management: Skilled in planning and executing delivery routes efficiently to meet
schedules.
Teamwork and Communication: Effective communication skills to coordinate with the sales
and logistics teams, as well as client contacts at delivery sites.
