Key Accountabilities
- Carry out mechanical preventive maintenance service (PMS) of equipment’s as per various maintenance package given with in the time frame
- Report to foremen or team leader any kind of defects found
- Attend brake down of equipment’s at site and provide feedback to superiors after work completion
- Dismantling components of equipments and give feedback to foreman about work progress and parts requirements.
- Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
- Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
- Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
- Maintain Good Housekeeping of the work area specially after completing the job. .
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
Qualification / Experience & Skills
- 2 Year Technical certificate in relevant trade (diesel mechanic or automobile)
- Industrial/vocational training
- Basic Knowledge to read and understand the various equipment manuals
- Ability to trouble shoots of plant equipment's at site. ,Knowledge to diagnose complaint & able to rectify
- Basic working knowledge with diesel engine & trouble shooting and hydraulic system & schematic.

The yard is spread over 200 hectares, 3 graving docks and 1 floating dock, with the largest dock capable of handling the world’s largest ship, and over 3,700m of berth space. It also boasts an in-house-built floating crane, which can lift 2,000 metric tonnes, including the weight of lifting gear for all types of heavy lift operations.
Innovative projects have been constructed in Drydocks World, breaking records for some of the largest new build offshore fabrication projects worldwide.
