What you'll be doing
The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the monthly financial reporting and control cycle ERP Transformation Function, of the ERP Transformation Business Unit with a primary focus on leveraging and optimizing ERP systems' financial forecasting and reporting results.
Key responsibilities include managing balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow management, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. With a strong emphasis on project management within the finance function, this position is pivotal in driving process improvements and enhancing the efficiency of financial operations.
Drive the budget and revision processes by coordinating with other departments on information requirements
Refine management reporting to incorporate and evaluate required key performance indicators and follow business profitability
Coordinate and direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, financial forecasts, core financial planning and analysis, proposal rates, profit plans, and schedules
Provide detailed monthly operating results and analysis of cost and analyze main variances
Assist the Senior Finance Manager in ensuring operational areas are managed efficiently, expenses are on target with projections, companies are operating within budget and Group internal control procedures are implemented
Develop and interpret statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results
Assist in establishing major economic objectives and policies for the Group and prepare reports that outline the Group’s financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations
Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions -Oversee, Compile, and analyze daily operations and financial information of the finance department
Prepare and review weekly financial forecasts and long-range financial plans
Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to ensure compliance with corporate timelines
Act as finance advisory and make recommendations to allow the business to make informed strategic, managerial and operational decisions
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reporting.
What you’ll need to succeed
From 8 years of relevant experience in financial management, with a focus on ERP-driven environments
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any related field
Any Professional Finance qualification would be appreciated (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA)
Proficiency in SAP is a must
Proven ability to work in a multinational matrix organization, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills
Experienced in project management, with a track record of leading finance-related initiatives
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager, with expertise in ERP system implementation, optimization, and financial process enhancement.
