Daikan is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations and support senior management in driving long-term growth and profitability. This role combines day-to-day management of financial reporting, cost control, and compliance, with high-level analysis and strategic financial planning to guide decision-making across the organization.


  • Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and train the accounts team to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient daily operations. Provide guidance and mentorship to the cost control team, ensuring the implementation of cost-saving strategies that drive profitability. Collaborate with department heads to monitor operational performance and optimize team processes.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee financial statement preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Conduct financial analysis to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and profitability. Deliver detailed reports and strategic plans to empower leadership with data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting: Develop and implement cost control procedures for food, labour, and operating expenses to align with financial goals. Lead annual budget creation, track variances, and recommend corrective actions. Identify cost-reduction opportunities and collaborate with departments to optimize financial performance.
  • Credit Management & Liquidity: Manage credit facilities with banks and vendors to ensure liquidity and negotiate favourable terms for smooth operations. Oversee cash flow to maintain liquidity for daily operations and strategic planning. Monitor, analyse, and forecast cash flows to inform financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Provide strategic financial advice to senior management on revenue growth, cost reduction, and profitability. Support decision-making on pricing, vendor negotiations, and investments. Analyse financial metrics to forecast trends and identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Compliance & Taxation: Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT and corporate tax. Liaise with auditors to ensure compliance and maintain financial integrity. Monitor tax law changes and advise senior management on potential impacts.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Review financial performance, compare results to plans, and identify improvement areas. Analyse costs, pricing, and sales to guide decisions. Develop forecasts and projections to align goals with company growth and profitability targets.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Support: Serve as the key liaison between finance and departments, developing strategies, minimizing risks, and optimizing resources. Advise on efficiency, assist with budgeting, and implement financial tools to support company goals.
