About the job Finance Manager

Our client is a prominent conglomerate in the UAE with businesses in transportation, technology, F&B, retail, etc. A global brand in the car rental, leasing, and transportation management industry. 


They are seeking a Qualified Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of this company within the transportation division of the group. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing a team in an automotive or transportation company, demonstrate strong leadership abilities, and possess hands-on experience with Oracle financial software.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop, analyze, and present financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and statements, to senior management.
  • Lead a team of 5 finance professionals, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and ensuring team alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage budgeting processes, and ensure the financial health of the company.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage audits, tax filings, and ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct financial risk analysis, implement strategies for cost management, and provide recommendations for financial improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with company objectives and business goals.
  • Maintain and optimize the use of Oracle financial software for all financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting. Master's degree and/or additional qualifications are mandatory


Experience:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a Finance Manager or similar role within the automotive or transportation industry.
  • Strong team leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle financial software is good to have.
  • Leader with a good personality and fluent communication skills.
