Finance Associate

Immediate joiner and ACCA/CA qualified resources will be considered.

Role Overview:
To ensure the company's corporate finance infrastructure operates efficiently and effectively at scale, liaising externally with service providers as well as internally with the firm’s investment operations, compliance, business development, and investment teams.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversight of all financial accounting processes
• Managing Accounting GL on software
• Cash flow Management
• Routine Payments, Managing Petty Cash, month-end adjusting entries.
• Payroll processing
• Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements (Management Report)
• Assist in various admin-related tasks
• Payments related to visa processing, Health and other Insurance, office administration, dealing DU, IT team
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets
• Managing records and receipts
• Reconciling monthly transactions
• Preparing balance sheets
• Processing invoices
• Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process
• Providing customer service to clients
• Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
• Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
• Ensuring sufficiency of cash resources(liquidity forecast)to cover estimated operatingexpenses
• Supporting the VP, FP&Aand executives with projects and tasks when required
• Liaising with external auditors with respect to audited fund structures
• Review of tax-related work provided by tax compliance service provider
• Liaising with outsourced accountants
  o Overseeing contractual arrangements for new and existing subsidiary entities
  o Oversight of regulatory documentation requirements and other reporting regimes
• Liaising with the firm’s investment and complianceteamsregardingoAssist with investment closings and prop deploymentsoAssistinvestment team during each fund launch phaseoAssist with regulatory reporting (DFSA, SEC, FCA, etc.) periodically

Requirements:

• Top Tier University Accounting/Finance graduate
• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CA)
• 5+ years post-qualification experience with an investment firm or banking experience
• Working knowledge of Xero Accounting Software is critical.
