Field Officer_ Agriculture

Position: Field Officer- Agriculture 

Job Location: Al Ain / Abu Dhabi 

Candidate Must be in UAE 

Job responsibilities: 

• Assess crop performance, soil health and pest management practices.
• Researching and following different trials prepare short summary report.
• Making study on different new crops about growing conditions.
• Collect and record data on crop growth, soil conditions, pest scout, irrigation, planting and harvesting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of crop management plans including planting, fertilizing, irrigation and harvesting schedules.
• Up-to-date recordings of all collected and analyzed data.
• Keep recording and updating Global Gap files. Preparing and make ready for Audit.
• Follow up and update daily activities.
• Making requests and following up with all agricultural materials like pesticides, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs.
• Monitoring daily workers performance and filling workers performance evaluation every six months.
• Scheduling workers annual leaves and follow up with daily attendance sheets.
• Preparing planting and other labels.
• Updating nursery plants status daily
• Work closely with the Agriculture Manager and other team members to coordinate the supply of farm inputs.
• Assistance in agricultural reporting.
• Collaborate with the procurement department for the supply of agricultural materials.

Qualifications.

1. BSc. Degree in agriculture of plant science

Work Experience

• Experience in growing fruits and vegetables.
• Experience: Excellent skills of MS excel words and power point
• Good communication skills
