About the Job:


As a Creations Cakery Sales Agent, you are responsible to co-ordinate all service requirements addressed to Creations Cakery department, primarily responsible for guest cake/pastries orders via phone or any other ordering devices.


Also punches the cake orders on to the point of sales systems like Micros POS. he/she should also coordinate guests request and delivery notes.


Additionally recognizing repeat guests and following standard procedures.


Purpose:


  • Responsible for answering all telephone calls and prioritizing said calls.
  • Should have very good telephone etiquette.
  • Should have good knowledge of cakes, pastries and ongoing promotions in another F&B outlet.
  • Directly involved in the cake order taking and order placing process while dealing with guest requests and orders, courteously, efficiently, and promptly.
  • Be knowledgeable of all services, facilities and products offered by the hotel.
  • Consider the satisfaction of all guests by ensuring prompt, courteous and efficient service always.
  • Display excellent conversation skills and selling techniques.
  • Pay attention to guest orders.
  • Write down all information’s clearly. highlight special request.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding special cake request.
  • Able to perform all duties and tasks per the tasks required at the outlet.
  • Report positive and constructive guest feedback to the manager.
  • Promptly handle guest queries, complaints, and all issues in a professional manner.
  • Have the knowledge and understanding to explain and perform upselling all items offered by the department assigned as well as offering alternatives or suggestions to guests.
  • Ensure proper handover is given to the next shift and to the Creations manager.
  • Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor.
  • Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and always organized.
  • Ensure proper appearance and grooming while on duty.
  • Perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About You:


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 


  • 2+ years Hospitality experience (preferably within the international hospitality industry)
  • Basic Computer Knowledge 
  • Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)
  • Ability to multitask & work under pressure.
  • Passion for driving excellence.
