Integrated in the Global Securities Financing team recognized for its solid expertise in Credit repo, you will be the one person in charge of launching and managing an Equity financing trading activity within First Abu Dhabi Bank. The client-driven model that proved to be profitable and sustainable with fixed income will have to be replicated in Equity Finance to offer clients from GCC, in particular but not only, liquidity, short-covering in various jurisdictions and an easier access to local shares. You will bring your contribution to build P&L or Risk reports and advice on improving processes for trading decisions or FO-to-BO. In your role, you will have to frequently interact with the structuring team to elaborate new products and enrich the bank’s offer as well as optimize the use of capital and generate alpha from inherited positions. You will bring your support to the sales force to onboard new clients.Key Accountabilities:Launch a client-driven Equity financing trading activityOptimization of use of scarce resourcesCarefully manage your risk and reach P&L target defined for the activityContribute to develop reports and processes for a reliable follow-up of the businessHelp spreading your expertise within the GSF teamOnboard the use of swap, futures, options within the GSF perimeter to make sure synergies are developed and all the value is extracted from the activity#LI-OnsiteQualificationsA minimum of 10-year experience in the capital markets industry with a strong and proven track record in Equity trading and particularly Equity Financing.Practical knowledges in usual products used in Equity financing activity (TRS, IRS, Futures, Options, …)Knowledge in Middle East equity marketsBeing familiar with Murex and Triparty platformsAutonomous and entrepreneur with a team spirit
